So I posted a couple of these outfit pics over on my Instagram claiming it’d be up on the blog on Christmas Eve... clearly I was lying. This outfit was a throw together last minute- all from where I work- special, after a long lie in, ready for a chilled but festive day out with one of my pals. Despite the shoes not being my best idea for lots of walking, this outfit looked great for a casual day out whilst also being super comfy.
These trousers are one of my fave work purchases, they’ve been up on the blog before because I just love them. They look super smart (& have pockets!!) but they actually have an elasticated waist, disguised by the waist tie and I love it.
The friend who took these photos is so incredibly lovely and sweet and I don’t see her nearly enough and we had a really nice afternoon together, wandering about, taking silly photos and chatting.
I wish I had more to talk about than my outfit and my lovely friends because I must sound like a broken record but I have a post Christmas (possibly gin related) headache so thinking is just a bit too much right now.
All I know is, that right now, I am very very content. I’m not overjoyed just content and it’s kind of lovely but also sort of bugs me.
