Don’t you just absolutely love when you LOVE how you feel and how you look in an outfit. Like I’m just absolutely obsessed with this look, never mind the fact that I got this dress in the sale AND on Black Friday so not only was it such a bargain, it’s also the kind of thing I will wear a million and one ways and forever- an absolute staple. 

It may not seem like a staple to anyone, but as someone who wears a black plisse midi dress as often as she can, I figured it’d be the same for a shorter, slightly different dress and I was right. I love this dress, I love how it looks over T-shirt’s and with tights and I know I’ll love wearing it with just sandals in summer. 

Since sustainability is such a hot topic at the moment too I feel like it’s worth noting that this is why I get so excited when I buy something new that I know I’ll love and wear to death. 

This look isn’t at all festive but I think it’s such a good in-between autumn/ winter look. Nice and cosy whilst still being cool. I also love what the knot hairband adds to the look- it makes it so retro and cute. I’m well keen on wearing hair bands at the moment as I can’t really tie up my hair anyway and they’re just damn adorable.
