BEYOU PERIOD PATCHES

So, I want this review to be as honest and upfront as possible. I'd like to point out that the BeYou patches were sent to me to try out and share my thoughts but I am in no way being paid to talk about them.

I'm going to start by talking about my period. I started my period when I was 15/16 ish and for the first few years never had any sort of cramping or pain, however, for the past year (at least, possibly two years) I have had awful cramps, the days leading up to and the first couple of days of my period. Maybe TMI, but you were in no way fooled that this wasn't going to be about my menstrual cycle so if you're finding this too much then perhaps just stop now...

Back to the point, now at 22 years old, I experience often crippling pain for a few days every month, that leaves me just staying in bed. (I'd like to point out here that pain is subjective and that maybe I hurt more or less than you maybe I don't- who knows!) Ordinarily, the solution to the pain would be a hot water bottle and TV in bed but of course, I can't do these things whilst at work... This is when I have found BeYou particularly useful.

They're like a giant plaster that you stick sort of just above your knickers (or on your back, depending on where the pain is), they smell quite strongly of menthol but that doesn't bother me at all. They are 100% Natural, Vegan & Cruelty-Free - the active ingredients being Menthol and Eucalyptus oil, which slowly absorb into the skin to "help ease the muscular tension which causes period cramps" and by god, they are perfect for a busy day that would usually be ruined by cramps. I have used them during my last two cycles, and they make being at work SO much easier. All they do that you can feel is sort of soothe and cool the area... they also definitely relieve pain as putting them on really did help me. I can't vouch that they work miracles but they really have made my life easier and a lot more comfortable.

If anyone has any questions about them I'd love to have a chat, I think everyone's cycle is personal to them and therefore these might not work for everyone but there's certainly no harm in giving them a go. I'm definitely going to continue using them.
