Today, I decided for whatever reason to put on a full face of make up, which honestly is not unusual for me at all but I decided I wanted a subtle 60s cut crease and to draw some extra freckles on to coax out the sun. So that is what I did.
I recently got a new eye-liner from illamasqua and have been wearing it non-stop. It is the precision ink in Abyss (the blackest black) and I love it, I have heard sunbeamsjess rave about this on soooooo many occasions and her eye make up is always incredible so it would be wrong for me not to trust her opinion and by god, it is good. It's the most I've ever paid for eye-liner but I think it was worth every penny, I think this is possibly what inspired the cut crease.
I used the naked 3 palette for my eyes, brushing Strange, which is white, across my eye lid and Trick, a shimmery copper orange colour, on the outer and centre part of my crease and blended and I adore how subtle it is compared to using a brown. I also decided not to do my eyebrows, which is odd as I hardly have any brows anyway but I just quickly did them with a blonde pencil so that they looked nice and natural, I think with such a bold eye and lip combo, doing my brows could have been a bit much for a regular Tuesday...
Using my eyebrow pencil I drew freckles on my nose and the apples of my cheeks, patted them with my finger to blend them in with my actual freckles and dusted them with finishing powder.
I finished the whole look off with an orange lip, which is my absolute favourite lip colour for summer. Unfortunately I don't think this lipstick is cruelty free as it's from topshop and there is some debate about that, I'm also not sure if it's vegan though when I bought it YEARS ago I did check the ingredients and it seemed fine to me.
