Daffodils

John and I are not valentines people, at least I don't think so, with valentines day you sort of imagine chocolates and roses and ungrateful people and that's not us, we got each other gifts and exchanged them 2 days early and on valentines day we watched the football on my laptop and made pizzas... It was a pretty normal spending my weekend with John type scenario and I'm super thankful for that.

It's also super lovely to realise that someone is taking notice of you, John got me this yellow jumper thing from h&m as part of my valentines gifts which although I had explicitly told him I liked it a lot it was nice to know he was paying attention and remembered and I think that is probably the best thing about valentines or any gift giving occasion for most people whether they realise it or not.

I will admit I was a little cold in this outfit but I've discovered I really quite like cold weather and being outside in it, as long as the sun is out and I'm not just standing around it's actually quite refreshing, and if daffodils are in season and they can cope with the cold then I don't see why me and my yellow jumper shouldn't.
