Cruelty Free Beauty Haulin'

I don't know if the same happens to anyone else but all of my make-up seems to run out at the exact same time meaning that as a student on a pretty strict budget I have to spend a little while re-stocking my make-up bag which I have been doing over the past month or so. I bought some things I already use on a daily basis and some new bits to try as well as some new skincare and it's all a bit exciting.

My first little shop was at Lily Lolo, I've spoken before about my love for their make up, most of it is vegan and it is all cruelty free. In this order I got the finishing powder in translucent silk and the makeup mist both of which I am loving so far, as well as a sample of their bb cream which I'm not too sure about and the mineral foundation with SPF in porcelain (my usual powder foundation because I like having the tiny pot to carry around in my bag). I really like Lily Lolo as a company and trust them for makeup that is good to my skin as well as just being quite lovely to own.

The second photo is of the most gorgeous nail polishes that Style Fruits ever so kindly sent to me for winning their November Insider's Tip, Illamasqua are a cruelty free brand who will very happily tell you which products are vegan if you ask, these are in the shades Viridian (which is vegan) and Glitterati (which I'm unsure of) both of which are very beautiful and I'm so thankful for Style Fruits for sending me them as well as writing some very kind words about me on their site!

Third and finally I visited Superdrug to pick up my usual BarryM foundation (4th photo) and a new mascara, The Barry M Lash Vegas mascara in blackest black with fibres which I'm actually sort of in love with, The applicator is like no other I've ever used  and I was sceptical at first but it's`the best mascara I've used in a long time and certainly the best vegan one I've found! Whilst on the hunt for my foundation I came across Superdrug's Naturally Radiant Range and I picked up the brightening hot cloth cleanser and brightening eye cream both of which I have been using daily and am in love with, they are comparable to Liz Earle products but unlike Liz Earle have a much smaller price tag and are vegan!

I know this is a bit of a different post for me but since I picked up a few bits recently I didn't see the harm in showing you!

P.S. Happy Valentines Day lovelies!
