Current Fave Cruelty Free Vegan Beauty Bits

As I'm sure we are all very aware, I am not a beauty blogger, but I am a Vegan and a Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger so I thought it was probably about time I gave you the run down of my favourite Vegan and Cruelty free beauty bits, some of which are new to me but have quickly become a favourite and some have been there since I started wearing make up, I hope you enjoy this post, let me know if you'd like any more beauty related posts and leave suggestions in the comments!

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Red Rum - This is the item that sparked the idea for this post, I could do a post on this lipstick alone as it is incredible but I figured that could wait until I own a few more colours. I love a matte lip, glossy is  fine and dandy but matte is just SO much easier for me to wear. I got this lippy as a Christmas Present and I have worn it almost every day since which might be a bit much for a red lip but I just can't help myself! You apply it like a gloss and for a couple of minutes afterwards it is quite wet and glossy but then it dries and it does not budge!!! You can wear this all day without having to top up and it doesn't even smudge when you eat. Admittadly I have smudged this but that tends to be when I forget I'm wearing it or because I'm pulling stupid faces and it's ended up on my chin. At £14 I honestly can't fault it, I know it will last me a long while and a reliable red lip is always great!

Barry M Lip Liner Pencil in Red - If you have to name a cruelty free beauty brand I imagine BarryM are the first most people think of and that is no different for me, I love them and I love that they label which of their products are Vegan on their website. I don't really have criteria for a lip liner other than it going onto my lips quite smoothly and this does just that, it accompanies the Jeffree Star Lippy super well and will never be something I stray away from.

Barry M Flawless Matte Finish Foundation in Ivory - I am very pale and when Barry M brought out this foundation I was very excited because I knew they already acknowledged us sun-dodgers as needing pale make up as they do a white foundation you can mix with other shades and I was not disappointed and have not stopped buying it since, It's build-able, lasts well and is the perfect shade for me. If I don't feel like wearing a full face of make up I mix a dot of this with my moisturiser and it still gives me a bit of coverage and a lovely base for the rest of my make up. I love it and I love that it is only £5.99 and it will forever be part of my make up routine.

Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation in Porcelain - Lily Lolo are an incredible brand of Mineral based make up and quite frankly I adore them. My first bits of make up were blushers and eye shadows my mum bought me from them, they are amazing quality and feel like almost nothing when applied. They have a very large range of colours and as it is mineral foundation you can mix shades to find the best one for you. I sometimes use my foundation as a setting powder for my liquid foundation and concealer etc or alone as my foundation. If I do use it alone though I do like my skin to be properly moisturised as my skin is more on the dry side and I feel like liquid foundation usually sits a bit better on my skin than powder but all the same I love this powder and I couldn't be without it!

EcoTools Retractable Kabuki - I also got this very recently but Kabuki brushes have always been my favourite brush to use on my face and I was over the moon to get this one for Christmas. I remember my mum having a retractable make up brush when I was little and thinking it was the most fun thing ever and I certainly wasn't wrong. I like to load this brush up with my Lily Lolo powder, close it and pop it in my handbag so that I don't have to actually bring a powder with me wherever I'm going and it's so convenient. It is also the softest Kabuki I have owned and I just adore the EcoTools brushes, they're so all so soft and such lovely quality and best of all cruelty free, vegan and far more eco-friendly than most make up brushes!
