Me Made Maude + Giveaway!

I bought myself the stunning corduroy a few months ago. It was my first fabric purchase and one I knew would become the A-line skirt of my dreams.

With my mum clearly being ahead of the times and drawing inspiration from the 60s and 70s which I then see happening everywhere else too, she had very conveniently started the pattern for her Maude skirt. A 60s style A-line with pockets which I adore. I'm not usually someone who will settle for any item of clothing which doesn't sit on my waist, we did plan for this skirt to sit on my waist but I don't know something just happened and it sits just below which I actually really love. It's not the most summer appropriate item of clothing but I think with a cropped bardot it is just fine for warmer weather although I'm super excited to team it with turtle necks and cable knit tights in winter so look forward to that on the blog.
